Two day Induction Programme for first year students for the Academic year 2022 was conducted on October 10 th and 11 th . The programme was inaugurated by Sri Anson P D Alexander, director and founder of ‘Kanal’ an NGO working exclusively for the empowerment of children. He took a motivational class for students; he suggested ways to overcome Challenges in life and to choose a career best suited for them depending on their taste and interest. It was predominantly an interactive class with students actively participating in the class. The honourable principal of the college Dr Aleyamma Kuruvilla presided over the programme and IQAC coordinator Dr Rigy Idiculla spoke on the occasion.
Classes in the afternoon session was led by Captain John M George (NCC officer) and Dr Sreejaya R ( NSS Programme Officer), they conducted a power point presentation on the procedures of enrolment in NCC and NSS and achievements of NCC and NSS units of our college till date. The second day’s induction programme began on 11 th October at 9.30 am, during the morning session, detailed power point presentations were made by coordinators of all clubs and committees of the college. Highlight of the session was an elaborate presentation of all Government and Non Governmental Scholarships and endowments available to students and a play organised by Anti-Narcotic cell. During the afternoon session department level power point presentations were conducted, wherein students were provided awareness regarding semester system, Internal marking system, internal examination, certificate courses etc. The programmes came to close at 3.30 pm
