National Webinar on Research Approaches in Translation Studies
To mark the World Translation Day 2023, a national-level webinar on “Research Approaches in Translation Studies” was organised by the English Literary Association 2023 on 29th September, 2023 at 10:30 AM using the Google Meet platform. Ms. Ashly Onamakuttan (Student Coordinator) welcomed the gathering. It was followed by the presidential address by Dr. Sneha Elcy Jacob (Principal i/c) and the felicitation by Ms. Elena Sajan (Head of the Department i/c). The resource person, Dr. Sara Mariam Roy (Assistant Professor, Woxsen University, Hyderabad) delivered the keynote address. It revolved around the various theoretical and conceptual concerns of Translation Studies and the career opportunities within the discipline. The vote of thanks was delivered by Ms. Shruthi Saji (Student Coordinator).
